Los jueces lo han tenido muy duro durante la final del Nike SB Berlin Open pues fue una tarde de skating de nivel superior.
Primero, Justin Sommer ( de 15 años – local del Berlín Shelter) e Igor Golubev (quien se llevó a casa el premio al mejor truco), pasaron directamente a la final desde las rondas de pre-calificación y terminarían el día en los puestos séptimo y décimo respectivamente tras competir con los 12 finalistas a partir de los que se haría un corte de tres.
Luan Oliveira, Simon Deprez y Maxim Habanec pasaron así a la súper final. Deprez dejó a todos boquiabiertos con un Bigger Flip en el set de 8, Maxim se marcó un 360 Flip a 50-50 en el Hubba pero, en el último momento fue Luan quien tomó el control. Utilizando todo los obstáculos del circuito en dos rondas consecutivas llenas de trucos muy sólidos, el brasileño estaba enchufadísimo y fue capaz de bajarse el set de 8 de Switch Bigspin Heelflip en medio de una ronda llena de trucos enlazados sin descanso.
El resultado final quedaría así:
1. Luan Oliveira (Porto Alegre – Brasil, 23 años)
2. Simon Deprez (Zwevegem – Bélgica, 19 años)
3. Maxim Habanec (Praga – República Checa, 22 años)

Judges earned their keep today in the 12 man final at the Nike SB Berlin Open in an afternoon of strictly top shelf skating.
Success stories came in the shape of Justin Sommer (Berlin, 15 – Shelter local) and Igor Golubev (who took home best trick), both reached the finals by coming up from the pre–qualies and held their own with the big players, ending the day with with a 7th and 10th respectively.
Luan Oliveira, Simon Deprez and Maxim Habanec all went through to the super final. Deprez blew a mind or 2 with a bigger flip down the 8, Maxim 360 fliped to 50-50 down the Hubba but when the chips were down it was Luan who took control. Hitting up pretty much every corner of the park with back to back rock solid skating, the Brazilian was absolutely on fire putting out a switch big spin heel flip down the 8 as just one of catalogue of comp winning tricks.
