As you know Brian Anderson there is in the select list of skaters who got a promodel for Nike, after twenty years skating Brian gets recognition now, better late than never.

Si le echamos un vistazo al Epicly Later’d de Brian O’Dell nos podremos dar cuenta del talento de Anderson, entro en Toy Machine después de patinar una tarde con Ed Templeton, Muska y Jamie Thomas por recomendación de Donny Barley. Unos años después de esto, llego el SOTY. Después todos sabéis lo que pasó, a Girl y con su consiguiente super parte en el Yeah Right, más tarde llegó Nike.
Let’s do a little brief to the Brian Anderson’s skate history.
If you watch his Epicly Later’d episode done by Brian O’Dell we are able to see his talent on a skateboard. He was sponsored by Toy Machine, how? he skated one afternoon with Jamie Thomas, Muska and Templeton just one afternoon that was enough to see his talent. After that they were trying to get Anderson in Toy.
Some years later Thrasher gave to him Skate Of The Year award. Since then everybody knows what happened, he left Toy for Girl and his Yeah Right’s part was incredible and every skater in the world knows that. If somebody doesn’t know what are you waiting for watch it?
What happened next? Nike happened.

And for everybody who doesn’t know. He left Girl two or three months ago to start a new brand which is called 3D Skateboards. Who are the team? Himself and Austyn Gillette, speaking of which 3D’s boards must arrive in your nearest skateshop this month or the next one, at least this is what’s happening in USA right now.
Que podemos decir de Brian Anderson que no sepáis? Pues que deberían rebautizar Hubba Hideout por su nombre, con su ya de entonces característica cabeza rapada se marcó un fs blunt para la historia (Foto abajo) Y ahora nos llega con esta zapatilla.
What can we say about Brian Anderson which you don’t know? Well maybe we should rename Anderson’s ledge instead Hubba Hideout for example. With his characteristic shaved head back then he did an amazing fs blunt there (photo below) And now he presents his own promodel well deserved.
Como dije antes después de 20 sobre un patín algo sabrá sobre zapatillas para patinar, Nike le dio el privilegio de participar en el proceso creativo lo que terminó desencadenando en un zapatilla de skate creada a partir de una zapatilla de running, pero al observarla te das cuenta un cierto parecido con las Blazer y las Dunk, y un cierto aire a las, ya desaparecidas Zoom Tre.
As I said in the previous paragraph after twenty years skating he should know something about skate shoes, Nike gave him the privilege to participate in the whole process of making a skateable shoe, technical aspects and design. This creative process started from a mix of two previous models: Blazer & Dunk but this model, Nike Project BA Premium it seems more like a running shoe.

Sistema de amortiguación Lunarlon, suela ligeramente convexa para mantener ese tacto con la tabla característica típica de una zapatilla de patín y al mismo tiempo un estilo en la puntera y en la zapatilla en general que me hace imposible no asociarla con una de estética running.
A combination of perforated suede and synthetics across its two-tone blue upper, the runner-inspired shoe boasts a cup sole design, Lunarlon cushioning and gum rubber herringbone traction.

Además de todo esto Brian Anderson nos deja su toque artístico personal, con una visión del ya, mítico Swoosh y unos detalles que nos recuerdan a los diseños de Skate Mental y, ahora, a 3D Skateboards.
Después de probarlas podemos decir que la amortiguación es increíble para gaps y escaleras, que la zapatilla cuenta con una serie de agarres dentro de la zapatilla que consigue que no te baile el pie y que vaya bien seguro. Además, la zapatilla cuenta con un sistema de ventilación para que te respire el pie, como se puede apreciar en las fotos de la lengüeta y de la puntera.
Besides all this Brian Anderson leave us his personal artistic touch, with a vision of already legendary Swoosh and detail that remind us Mental Skate designs and now to 3D Skateboards.
After testing them we can say that the Lunarlon’s cushioning is amazing for gaps and stairs, the shoe features a number of grips inside the shoe that gets you not dancing foot and it goes well secure. Furthermore, Free-inspired siping appears throughout the outsole for added flexibility while additional tech elements include a hidden midfoot apparatus for support and a diamond mesh tongue for breathability.
