The following March 14th Martorell will be a new attractive place for all the skaters of the area, and that’s because this town will open the BLEM Skate Plaza, a 200 square meters skatepark (the third biggest park in Catalonia). This place will have a zone for all the street skaters (with some rails, ledges and hips) and another one for those who prefer to skate tranny (with dunes, slope curves and a vast bowl).
The scheduled event for this Saturday, organized by BLEM, is an exhibition of skateboard (with Joan Galcerán), roller, BMX, hip-hop and… yeah, and scooter. We recommend you to head out there if you wanna enjoy an entertaining event. But if you’re from those who just want to shred the park we can only suggest you to wait for a couple of weeks, then the skatepark won’t be that crowded and you’ll be able to skate as hard you really can.
As they say an image is worth a thousand words (and specially in these kind of news), here we attach a photo gallery that Martorell’s City Hall posted on Facebook.
